Where is wutai in final fantasy 7
But you'll have to re-arrange it, as she's messed up the positioning. She does at least give the MP Absorb materia back, though, and now you can go to the shops. Remember that little shack with all the cats, near Yuffie's house? Go in there, and now you can up the stairs and get to a chest with an HP Absorb materia. That's it for this sidequest; you go straight onto the Pagoda sidequest, or come back and do it later. Once you've completed the first Wutai sidequest, you may go on with this second one at any time, even right after you finish the first.
Bear in mind, though, that if you're playing for completism, the only way to get the Trine enemy skill on all four of the game's Enemy Skill materia is to save this sidequest until after you have them. The great tower you see standing at the north end of the city is where you'll want to head, but first make sure that you outrig Yuffie with all the best materia and equipment. You'll thank yourself later on. As a sidenote, if you haven't already, go out fighting around the Wutai beach area where you can encounter the Adamantaimai , a huge tortoise that's not really much of a challenge if your levels are high enough or you've got good magic defense. The point of interest here is that you can steal Adaman Bangle s from it, which give you an extremely high physical defense rating while trading off some magic defense. You can also learn the Enemy Skill Death Force from it.
An Adaman Bangle can be very useful to some of the bosses you'll face. When you're ready, enter the tower with Yuffie in your party and prepare to run the gauntlet, because you'll have to face five trials to gain the power of the Water God.
Checking your equipment one last time before going in might be a good idea, and remember to heal in between every battle so you'll be in top shape for the next. Being past level 20 sure doesn't hurt, either, and having the Beta Enemy Skill which you learn from the Midgar Zolom would be a great help, too, since it's one of the game's stronger enemy skills!
Should you win you might not be able to if you're too weak , you'll be awarded with the power of the Water God, Leviathan , and given the item that grants Yuffie's ultimate Limit Break, All Creation. After that, you only have to collect yourself and rearrange your materia and equipment, then start working on upping Yuffie's levels so she can use her new toy. About Spoilers Button Names. Ice Ring. She's not so tough, really. Equipping a Jem Ring will keep you from being paralyzed by her Stare Down attack and make your life a lot easier. If the player has the Highwind this can be avoided. However, as the Wutai area houses the Enemy Skill Magic Hammer , taking on this sidequest can be more rewarding if done sooner rather than later.
Tents can be used to heal everyone on the world map, so the player can stock up on them while in Rocket Town. There is an area with chocobo footprints where the party can encounter a Chocobo if they have the Chocobo Lure Materia.
If the player kills the enemies accompanying the chocobo before the latter flees, they capture the bird and can ride it around Wutai Area. During the battle the party can give the bird some greens to prevent it from fleeing. If the player has rented stables at the Chocobo Farm they can send the chocobo there and have Choco Billy evaluate it. The chocobos from Wutai Area are either "Poor" or "Average" and thus not worth breeding.
If the party has a green, black or gold chocobo they can reach a Materia Cave with a Mime Materia inside. The Materia Cave is on the world map in the Wutai Area, blocked by mountainous terrain so it cannot be accessed on foot or by Highwind. The Mime Materia that can be collected inside gives the Mimic command that copies the last ability the party performed.

According to the Final Fantasy VII Ultimania Omega [1] , during early plans for Final Fantasy VII , Wutai was much different from how it appears in the final product: Wutai was to be a town built around the temple for the "Wutaia faith", a religion dominated by female hierarchy that worshiped a female deity.
The current hierarch was to be the young Sasame-no-Himemiko, the 89th in line. Due to Sasame being only 15 years old, the real leader would be the high priestess, Izayoi. Godo would not have been the leader, but rather the head of the Kisaragi family, the servants to the Wutaia leader. Shinra's goal in the town would have been to build a Reactor to harvest the rich Mako below "Ten Faced Mountain", as Da-chao was originally called. Presumably the Wutai War would not have occurred, but the leaders of the Wutaia faith and the townspeople would have opposed to Shinra's plans of building the Reactor, and in turn, Shinra would have imposed high custom charges on goods entering Wutai, to make the people of Wutai suffer.
Sera, a spy for Shinra, would have tried to lure the leaders of Wutaia faith to Shinra's side and corrupt Sasame against Yuffie, who was trying to help out the town by stealing the party's money. However, with Izayoi's assistance, Sera is found out and defeated. She runs off to Ten Faced Mountain to try to blow it up, thus freeing room for the mako reactor.
Yuffie is so grateful of having been rescued she gives back the party's Materia, plus the MP Absorb Materia she stole earlier. After the quest the player can buy stock from the weapon shop, visit the "Cat House" to obtain a Materia, and visit the Pagoda with Yuffie in the party to do another sidequest.

The quest can be completed after gaining access to Yuffie's house during her Wutai quest. Yuffie must be in the party to start this sidequest, which means the player must have completed the stolen Materia quest, or held off long enough for it to become unavailable Part 3.
The quest entails battling five bosses one on one with Yuffie—one on each floor. Dying in these battles does not constitute a Game Over as long as at least one other party member is alive.
